Jonathan Kuminga helped out his Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, scoring a team-high 18 points off the bench in 26 minutes.
But that didn’t result in a Warriors win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
In fact, the Warriors have a really bad track record when it comes to Kuminga in the playoffs.
According to StatMuse, the Warriors are now 0-4 when Kuminga plays 20+ minutes in the postseason.
Considering Golden State might see a lot more of Kuminga, they obviously want this number to change.

Kuminga hasn’t seen a lot of time on the court this season, especially since the trade for Jimmy Butler.
Since then, head coach Steve Kerr has been hesitant about keeping him on the floor alongside Butler and Steph Curry.
But Curry is out now, and the Warriors are trying a few new things, giving Kuminga more opportunities to shine and show what he is capable of.
His Thursday night showing was surely promising, and Kerr has said he will get more time in future games in this series.
But the fact of the matter is that the Warriors lose when Kuminga gets a lot of minutes.
Will that always be the case?
Golden State fans sure hope not because Curry could be out for some time, and they will need Kuminga and everyone else to pick up the slack while he’s gone.
Kuminga will be in the lineup for Game 3 against the Timberwolves, which means he will get another shot at changing this record and finally putting a win in his column for the playoffs.
