The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered a heartbreaker of a loss on Monday night against the Denver Nuggets, but one of their star players still had a historic night.
According to the NBA on X, Alex Caruso became just the sixth player in a playoff game to record 20+ points, 5+ assists, 5+ steals, and 5+ three-pointers.
Once again, Caruso showed his dominance for the Thunder, even though they didn’t win.
Despite the loss, Alex Caruso became just the 6th player in a playoff game (since 1973-74, when steals and blocks were first tracked) to record:

For the night, Caruso put up 20 points, six rebounds, five steals, and two blocks.
He was easily the most important player off the bench, as he has been again and again during his time with the Thunder.
Throughout his years in the NBA, Caruso has shown that it’s not about the size of the dog in the fight.
He isn’t as big as many of his opponents, but he has been a dominant defensive player and never gives up.
He has a lot of drive and confidence, no matter who he is playing against.
But it’s not just his defense, because Caruso is a big offensive threat too, which was proven by his 20 points during Monday’s game.
The Thunder barely lost to the Nuggets in Game 1, but OKC is obviously not out of the running to win this series.
They can bounce back with ease and pull ahead as long as all their stars are playing well.
Caruso will be a huge part of any success they find.
He is making history with his stat lines, and now he wants to achieve something else: he wants to help his Thunder team become champions.
