The Denver Broncos had a very solid season last year.
Sean Payton just needed two years and a quarterback who fit his scheme to work out his magic at Mile High.
However, Bo Nix is much more than a system quarterback; he’s the system.
More than that, he’s also proven to be the kind of leader any organization would strive to get.
As reported by Zac Stevens of DNVR on X, the former Oregon standout has already reached out to each and every single one of the team’s draft picks to welcome them to the team.
From my understanding, Bo Nix has already reached out and welcomed every Broncos draft pick to the team. Really cool. pic.twitter.com/5EDuZLH6Q6

Of course, that might look like a small gesture, but it’s the kind of approach that you would expect from your leader and the face of your franchise.
That’s the kind of minor detail that can go a long way with any team.
Nix had a very good first year in the league.
After years in college, he entered the NFL with some doubts, but clearly, all that experience helped him have a smoother transition to the pros.
He looks tailor-made to succeed in Payton’s offense.
Moreover, he showed a willingness to be coached and get better, and he never made the same mistake twice.
He may not have been as flashy or spectacular as Jayden Daniels was, but he made a strong case to take him down for Offensive Rookie of the Year at one point.
Now, he will look to avoid the feared second-year quarterback regression, and you can be sure he’s put in a lot of work in the offseason.
