Friday night was not a good one for Nikola Jokic.
Yet, somehow, his Denver Nuggets were able to win despite his subpar performance.
According to StatMuse, Jokic just notched his worst true-shooting percentage in a playoff game, his most turnovers in a playoff game, his most missed threes in a playoff game, and his second-most missed shots in a playoff game.
Will Jokic rebound from this in Game 4?

Obviously, the Nuggets didn’t want Jokic to perform this poorly.
But the good news is that the Nuggets still scored an overtime victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder and now hold a 2-1 lead in the series.
If the Nuggets are able to win such a high-stakes game even with Jokic playing like this, their chances of beating the Thunder and moving onto the next round are high.
Of course, it’s very likely that Jokic won’t play like this again.
That isn’t what the Thunder want to hear, of course, but Jokic doesn’t regularly have games like this.
Even with these lacking statistics, Jokic still posted 20 points, 16 rebounds, and six assists during Friday’s game.
Nuggets fans are hopeful that he can produce a lot more in Games 4 and beyond.
Now that Jokic has gotten this game out of the way, he can bounce back and perform like the MVP candidate he is.
But even if he has another bad performance, the Nuggets have proven they can still win.
Friday’s game was a big victory for a number of reasons.
It was an encouraging and surprising victory, especially since their iconic superstar just wasn’t looking like his regular self.
