The NFC East has been one of the most unpredictable divisions in football for over two decades.
They haven’t had a repeat winner in 20 years, an indication that this division has had a lot of parity that has led to some late-season battles.
The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have battled for the top spot in recent seasons, but with the emergence of the Washington Commanders, a third challenger has stepped into the mix.
Washington might have been a great team last year, making it to the NFC Championship, but it might be difficult for them to hold the top spot in the division by the end of the season.
FanDuel recently published their odds regarding who will win every division, and the Eagles have a hearty lead over the Commanders.
As of May 2nd, the Eagles’ odds of winning the division were at -155, compared to the Commanders, who were at +255.

This isn’t necessarily the kiss of death for the Commanders, as odds aren’t everything, but they certainly indicate what the public is thinking.
It’ll seemingly be a two-horse race between the Commanders and Eagles, as the Dallas Cowboys are sitting at +650, and the New York Giants are extreme longshots at +2700.
This division could be more competitive than the odds suggest, but fans will have to wait and see how it all plays out.
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles ended the year on a positive note, so it will be interesting to see if they can carry that momentum forward.
