The Baltimore Ravens got a playmaking safety in the NFL Draft.
He hasn’t played a single snap in the league, but he’s already put a huge target on his back.
Talking on ESPN, Malaki Starks called out Josh Allen, claiming that he wants to pick off the reigning NFL MVP (via Bobby Trosset).
“I want to get Josh Allen,” Starks answered when asked which quarterback he looked forward to picking off the most. “I’ve got a few teammates up there, so it’ll just be fun. It’ll be a really cool moment for me.”

Of course, you have to respect enthusiasm and confidence, and Allen just beat Lamar Jackson for the MVP award.
Nevertheless, perhaps trying to go against and pick off one of the best signal-callers in the entire world isn’t the best way to get your career started.
The Bills and Ravens will continue to be two of the strongest teams in the AFC.
They will be Super Bowl contenders for the foreseeable future, so Starks will most definitely have several chances to get Allen, especially in the playoffs.
The craziest part about this statement is that Allen actually holds bragging rights over Jackson and the Ravens.
Granted, the Ravens have beaten him three out of four times in the regular season, including a blowout win last year.
However, the Bills are 2-0 against the Ravens in the playoffs during the Josh Allen era.
Whatever the case, this will most definitely be a story worth following closely.
Both teams are hurt and looking to put an end to their drought, and there will be steep expectations to fulfill next season.
Whether Starks will be granted his wish or not remains to be seen, but Allen is most definitely keeping receipts.
