The Golden State Warriors are currently down 3-1 in their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves, so they would obviously love to have Steph Curry back from his injury as quickly as possible.
But rushing back to the court isn’t going to happen, according to Curry.
Speaking with Marc Spears, he was brutally honest about where he’s at with his hamstring injury.
“Even if I wanted to be Superman, I couldn’t,” Curry told @andscape in response to Green’s words about Game 5.
“Even if I wanted to be Superman, I couldn’t,” injured Warriors guard Stephen Curry told @andscape in response to Green’s words about Game 5. Curry added he doesn’t expect to be available in 5 and won’t know anything more about his hamstring until his next medical evaluation. https://t.co/1HTwpiHppn

Curry’s comment came in response to Draymond Green, who also said that his friend and teammate couldn’t be Superman and miraculously come back to the court in record time.
The Warriors have been in a tough position without Curry, who got hurt in Game 1 against the Timberwolves.
That was the only game the Warriors won in the series, and they have since witnessed Minnesota find their rhythm and put together a string of impressive wins.
Golden State is obviously missing the special brand of offensive talent that only Curry can bring, but they know that if they rush him back into the game, it’ll only make things worse.
Instead, they need to rely on other stars to pick up the slack and fill the massive void.
Sadly, no one has been able to aptly replace Curry.
On Monday, the Warriors had a bad shooting night and were just 29.6 percent from beyond the three-point line.
They could have looked so much better if only Curry were on the court.
But he wasn’t, and, according to this new statement, he might not be for a bit longer.
